I still remember in my childhood people are stick to the radio to hear the running commentary and suddenly there were huge celebration among the bunch. Its 1983 when India won the thrilling final on Mighty West Indians. I started loving that game. Infact by the time I saw the cricket bat , I never know that a sport played madly in some countries. I still remember I used to wake up at 3 AM , go to a club 2 km away from my home and watch the Benson And Hedges challengers trophy in Australia. Its all great memories. Before it gone too mad to watch that game. After loosing the world cup twice being at final I really lost the interest in watching the game.

But the IPL is new mantra. Its really clicked well made many many watch the game from Grand father to grand son/daughter. Its great !! Many women follow the game as well. It shows how it elevated the sport of Cricket.
