JUST LIKE BUTTERFLIES FLUTTERING FROM ….(A POEM)

Just like butterflies fluttering from flower to flower

Tasting nectar in their frivolous game of living,

Some men sportively flit from woman to woman

To make conquests and boast of amorous exploits!

They however bitterly realize at the end of the day

That life was not a series of silly amatory pursuits;

Only fidelity, commitment, sacrifice and true love

Can bestow life with really meaningful significance!

Marriage is not a game of marbles for silly fools;

One who is not serious is condemned to be lonely,

Left with regrets, searching for a playback button

To take him back in vain to his life’s beginnings!
