I placed an order with Naaptol online for a pair of black formal ankle high boots. The shoes which I liked and placed order for were Bacca Bucci Troy 10 shoes. The order was placed on 25 Sept 2013 and payment was made upfront by credit card. To my surprise, the goods were delivered the next day itself. I was at office so my wife received the package.She was not aware of the particulars of the order as I had not discussed it with her. When I returned from office and opened the package, I found a pair of very ordinary looking pair of shoes by the name of Lord Jim. These were manufactured somewhere in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. I was disappointed. If I had wanted some local shoes I could very well have purchased them from Laxmi Nagar. I called up Naaptol on 27.9.2013 and told them about their cheating. The executive on the other side of the phone argued very innocently that 'shape to same hai na'. It means that if you place an order for Rockport or any other branded shoe from Naaptol, be prepared to receive some local shoe in its place because "shape to same hai na'. I had registered the complain on 27.9.2013 (complaint no. 5091777) and was assured that it will be resolved soon but no one has bothered to contact me from Naaptol. Thank lord, I learned the business policy of Naaptol by spending some Rs. 1000 odd only. Now I will never place any order with them in future. Be warned while dealing with Naaptol..
