Friends,

Here I am with a happy news for you all. One of our friend, a mouthshut member, Jeevananthan (ajayan) has won the 'Special Mention' award by the national film Awards Jury for his book 'Thiraicheelai', written in Tamil.

The ex-star writer of Mouthshut, Jeeva is known to many of the regular members and no doubt it is a proud moment for all of us in mouthshut.

During my last year's visit to India, I have made a personal visit to him and the book was under process of publishing. It must be a coincidence that last week, during my visit to India I had made a call to him and the next call got me this happy news to share with you all.

The award is special for Tamil literature and films where it is after 29 years a Tamil book is getting a mention or award by the national film award jury. This is dear to Jeeva in another way as well, as the writer is more known for his paintings and drawings where now he has proved his talent and commitment in another section. Talent is like sunlight which ever colour you give it project that colour. Take a special look at the cover where it is a rare book which have a cover designed by the author itself in an excellent manner!!

Hearty congratulations to Jeevananthan on achieving this great feet. I am sure mouthshut and its members will join in congratulating him in this happy occassion.
