Last Saturday, I had the privilege to watch Shaan perform at Hitex Grounds, Hyderabad. I just happened to be there, courtesy a friend who had arranged for free passes. This was the 2nd time I had been present in a Shaan concert. The experience was exhilarating. He sang all his popular numbers ranging from Don.. through behti hawa… and then the cult song- Tanha Dil...

The show went on for around 2-3 hrs and I was quite enthralled by the person's energy. Initially, the crowd was less but as the show progressed, audience started pouring in and the atmosphere became electric. He sang almost non-stop for the entire period and never ever letting the enthusiasm go down. The energy-level displayed was incredible. Everyone out there was having a gala time with the performance and to top it up, there were stalls which served food and Beer (Of course not free J)

The last time I had been to a Shaan concert was almost 6-7 years back and I was amazed to find out that he still has the same amount of energy and capability (in fact more than before) to hold the crowd together and give an exuberant performance .
