Christmas is more highlighted in Bandra than any other neighborhood in Bombay. Every lane exudes warmth and celebration. You just have to walk around Bandra and right up to mount Mary church behind the famous mannat. But park Street in Kolkata is the place to be.

It looks to decked up for the festival and no where in India would you find the streets so gorgeously lit up. The end to end of the street has the best street food in India - if I ever get to show a food show park Street shops would be there right on the list. To cover the street you can take out a week. If you really want a food experience that is. St marks in Bangalore sees a large crowd and stalls of plum cake outside, Secunderabad, Goa and Kerala - I have spent the 25th in each of the places but without bias and hands on Gita I can safely say that Allen's park to park Street metro - be there. Today, at the age of polarisation Christmas brings a sense of togetherness specially among the non Christians - To go out there and visit a church. That's their yuletide season!
