Young and restless

Wanted to spread my wings

Didn't want to follow others

Wanted to do my thing

With spring in my feet

Zing in my wings

I flew across borders,

Wanted to be a king

Young and restless..........

Didn't realise the price

Wanted to create paradise

Just wanted to go higher

Was ready to be baptised by fire

Kept going ahead with the flow,

Ignored all advises to go slow

Young and restless..........

Having acheived every thing

Somehow can't enjoy the spring

Untill and unless there is something to gain,

Can't go out and enjoy the rain

All the attempts to smile go in vain

Can't explain this dull pain

Young and restless........

Guess inner happiness is the key

Would have to start a new journey

More deep and inward this time

Need to change the paradigm

I know its going to be a test

As this journey has tested the best

I am sure path to a real progress

Is the inner happiness

Would like you to come with me

Create the real harmony

Instead of conquering the whole wide world

Lets all get together to conquer the inner world

Lets expand the inner space

And make the world a better place

No longer young and restless
