I am a Military Brat, I was born in a marine hospital and raised on marine bases. My dad was a full col. and fought in Viet Nam. He was and still is a real hard ass, yet always fair. I have the utmost respect for him. It was a great life at times, also somewhat strange, but always interesting. I went to nine different schools in twelve years, and moved as many times. I always wondered what it was like to know the same people, live int the same town and go to the same school, I think I would have liked that. At present I live in a rural area of Virginia. I hope to stay here for the rest of my life, I never want to move again. I am married to a Military brat, we have a fantastic bond and of course share the same interest and insecurities. I am pleased the way my life turned out. . Muscle cars from the 60's. I am restoring a 68 GT. Mustang fastback, I find it peaceful and rewarding. I also have a passion for Motor cycles especially the Harley, I love the way they hammer you down the highway, they sound cocky and mean. I am an Avid reader mostly Biographies, and history. I enjoy collecting anything old, no matter what it is.

I enjoyed reading about your night trip. I loved the details, very thorough.Glad you made it in one piece. I have two Fords and travel mostly unsurfaced rural roads. They get a beating, however hold up very well.
