Petrol version would be better if your usage isn't too excessive - diesel version is better suited for heavy users; it requires more maintenence. Well great to know that you have done 60000 KMS on it. Height does not matter as long as you have a sturdy enough built. I have seen guys shorter than you handling a RE Bullet 500cc with ease. Go for it if you really like its looks. Anyway, its not that macho a bike that a 5'6" guy cannot handle.
