Mate, there is an option to disable the constant reminders that you are talking about! Check out the user manual. Been using the L6, upgraded to the V3 and I am now using the V3i for almost a year. Great phone but it needs TLC to keep it in peak condition.

Using a Motorola V3i myself! Great phone with fantastic features. Style statement that really gets the eyeballs! Beauty with Brains is how I would describe it.

Are you using the RJ 45 or the USB connection? My experience with the USB was similar to yours till I switched over to the RJ 45 connector.
