i had recently one of my friends with a woodlands shoe damaged after 1 or 2 years of use. i think i cannot guarantee all the models are good but i certainly make a thorough inspection of the model before buying. u can look at the sole blend with the body and guess how strong it is..
Moreover these are the starting prices, it goes higher for various models but personally I wouldnt prefer investing too much on footwear.
The shoes cost definitely higher, I bought the first pair way back in 2004 in discount sale. I dont remember mentioning disappointment with the shoes. The fact is the stitches came out and I couldnt wear without repairing. Now it is back to top condition

yes it looks good and sturdy..but unfortunately the touchphones will take over very soon.... i have a new one with me but I think it suits ladies more.
