ICICI finally admitted their mistake. There was indeed a promotion at CROMA in Oct where they were supposed to give the cash back .. now the cash back has been credited to my account .... @nitinshopping - yes i did read the fine print and only then confirmed the transaction. This is a legal compliance that ICICI has to give. ICICI has not gone out of their way to resolve disputes.

This is actually falling foul of anti-trust laws. ICICI cannot insist on bundling their device at merchant and link it to customer transactions.
