.htaccess is very much needed to optimize your site. 301 redirection, entries related to CMS you use is very essential. Glad that you analysed all these factors. I felt bad with yahoo and moved out of them few months before.

A support system is not fit enough to be called so, if it serves after 4 days. Good review my friend. They need to act on it asap. I suggest u to choose better provide.

Dear arindra, Sithalapakkam is big sub-urban area, anyway i will trace their office if required. In hosting i may not need that. Good review ... The bug problem is for these companies the main business is not hosting so they least bothered to support you. In hosting. my advice is do not take year on payments anything more than Rs.1000. I have problem with yahoo. I took my service for desitelecom.com I coud not add more dom Read More...

For all those who seek advice on new host Hexahost is good. http://hexahost.com/ Indian company have servers in US (tat wat my trace result says), Checked out in their site also.
Good review ... I had problems too. In my case i bought only the domain, i have hosted my account with godaddy. Even with that i have faced numerous problem.
