Just forgot to add a note. If your piston was bad, then it wouldnt have given you better mileage. So you can stop suspecting your piston or cylinder
Do not replace a piston or cylinder for your problem or donot even decarbonise them at the start. Just de-carbonize the exhaut pipe first and see the improvements.
