One night in deepest sleep, I dreamed,
Upon the beach I walked.
The Lord was by my side each step
As quietly we talked.
Then on the sky my life appeared;
Each chapter was serene.
Two sets of footprints in the sand
I saw in every scene.
And then I noticed in some parts
Of discontent and strife,
Just a single pair of footprints
In the worst times of my life.
''Lord you said you'd walk by me
In good times and in bad...
Why then weren't you with me
When you knew my life was sad?''
''My dearest child,'' God whispered,
When you suffered then, I knew;
the single pair of footprints
Were those times I carried you.''

Hai, I am based in Bangalore India and have lived here for the last 45 years. Attaboy, now you know my age. I am also called as Ramji by my near and dear, and you have the liberty to address me as Ramji if you happen to become my near or dear. The choice is yours! Ha, ha, ha!
I schooled, colleged and worked in Bangalore itself and then started my professional practice. I had an office initially in Safina Plaza (yes, that famed Safina Plaza) and after some time, could not pay the overheads and moved to home, from where I practice now.
I am an expert in funding and project finance. Have done more than 900 projects till date, right from a very small project to a very large project. Till recently, I was helping an Australian MNC to set up its project in India and have sourced a large amount of funds for its operations. That assignment is now over! I am also doing special audits for the largest private sector bank in India, for the state of Karnataka!
I am an extrovert and an extremely social person.
I also happen to be a Freemason and a former Rotarian. I am a Past Master of Lodge Bangalore No. 15, GLI. We started a very worthy project this year of feeding nearly around 1,300 school children of a Government School with our own limited resources from Freemasonry. But desperately running short of funds now! Can u help? PM me if you can. Give me Strength and the Resources to handle this mammoth task, O God! I have successfully done the project for one year upto February 2005, when I laid down my office. Now I need to help my successors!
I used to be a very active Rotarian. I had to resign due to personal reasons, and of course, time commitments! My club has built an eye hospital at a cost of nearly Rs. 30 lacs, and it is rendering yeoman service. I was actively associated with it, till I resigned!
I have a very good sense of humour and obviously one of my favourite author is P G Wodehouse. I have almost all the books written by him in my collection. I also like murder mysteries, fiction and espionage fiction. I am a very voracious reader, but that habit has gone for a six after the constant interaction with the PC, and of course, the TV.
I happen to be a Virgo and have all the Virgoean characteristics. Obstinate, muleheaded and disciplined are some of the ad. Music, Reading, Travel
