John Abraham started his career in Bollywood movies After modelling for numerous advertisements and companies when he made his film debut with Jism (2003) which also with his great performance won him a Filmfare Best Debut Award nomination. Its only hard work that can make a model who performed and appeared in the music video of the song of Punjabi singer Jazzy B into a talented thriving actor who not only received two Filmfare Award nominations, for his negative roles in Dhoom, and in Zinda (2006) but also appeared in the major critical success Water (2005). Not only this, his line up of immense talent was seen in the film Baabul (2006) for which he was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
John has surely come a long way with back to back hits in movies like commercially successful films including Garam Masala (2005), Taxi No. 9211 (2006), Dostana (2008), New York (2009), Force (2011), Housefull 2 (2012), Race 2 (2013), Shootout at Wadala (2013) ti name a few. It was in 2012 that Abraham produced his first film Vicky Donor that arned him a National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. After this, His second film as a producer was Madras Cafe, which garnered public praise. His upcoming movies involve BatlaHouse to be released on 15th August 2019 which will then be followed with Pagalpanti that will be released on 8 Nov 2019. He will also be seen in Sanjay Gupta’s Next, Untitled, Sarfarosh 2 later next year.
