I disagree to the fact that induction cook tops have an inherit flaw. The technology is new and I agree that it needs to be refined, but saying that it is good for nothing will not be correct. Ok i can help with the rotis. If you are using an induction flat iron tawa then you need to change it. You should get an hard ionized tawa with an induction bottom. The thing is that the tawa gets too hot too quickly and the auto cut feature of the induction cook top switches it off. I would suggest read more...

Hi I can help....Yes all the induction brands are made in China except for a few...For example Tempo...But Chinese not always means poor quality...(Nokia is Chinese made, and so is apple)...Online shopping could be tricky sometimes as you experienced and one should get all terms and conditions clear read more...
