Annalakshmi restaurant in Race Course, Coimbatore serves South Indian food and costs INR 800 for two people. They have a divine ambience that consists of a goddess’s idol, paintings on the wall and wooden furniture. They also have a colorful roof that is stunning. The service is top notch.

The special thali starts with a mint lime juice, is followed by a soup and we had the corn soup, which is accompanied with onion bhaji and isheavenly. The miniature poori and paniyaram has an average taste and is served with rice sambar, kolambu, rasam and curd rice and has a mouth-watering taste. They also serve a unique and special halwa.

The dosa here is average and the fried rice and pulav are average. They also have some North Indian thalis and the vegetable keeps changing every day. The bowls of poriyal, which is gourd and ladies finger that were were served has a warm and homely taste to it. The veg kurma also stole our heart.

They have amazing appetizers like the baby corn and carrot fritters and the capsicum bhaji. The paneer Manchurian is a delight for the taste buds. The cucumber peanut salad is mouth-watering and out of this world. The methi malai corn is a dish that is worth trying. The paneer kofta is also something that you must try.

Annalaxmi restaurant is a place that you must try for warm and homely food.

They charge pocket friendly payable budget of 800 INR. for two people. They are functional between 12noon – 3pm, 7pm – 9:30pm. Indoor seating places are available.

It is a perfect place for people who relish authentic South Indian delicacies. The various ingredients and South Indian preparations provide an amazing experience to the people. Their dishes are average. Their Dosa is okay in taste. Their Fried rice is of good quantity. Their Pulao has good amount of vegetables.

A warm mix of some juices and spices, it was a perfect foil to the chilly weather. Overall, they offer a panorama of superb food with mediocre flavours and textures. Their dhal rice powder is served with Ghee alongside. Their food is a little overpriced.
