Happiness is the only cause of grief and depression

After reading the topic of this article, all you readers must be thinking what a mad person I am. If you have guessed so, then you are absolutely correct. I am mad, cuckoo, loony, crack brained, eccentric, etc. but practically, I am very much right. To understand this article better, the reader has to be depressed and sad at least once in his or her life. If someone disagrees with my point of view then please be kind enough to explain me why.

For better understanding, I shall explain with examples. Take happiness as a butterfly and you already are a human being. Normal humans’ desire for only 2 things in their life and that is money and happiness. Forget money for a few moments. To human eye a butterfly (happiness) is very appealing. Its colourful and bright wings which vigorously but gently move in the wind are absolutely hypnotizing and we humans are always disillusioned by its beauty. We are dazed by its movements and appearance and then, sadly enough, we start chasing it in order to catch it. We chase it till we get tired and start quiting.Once we quit, we become depressed and sad that we could not catch the butterfly (happiness).

Even if you catch hold of the butterfly, you are at loss. Why? Because you end up crushing its wings in excitement after which the butterfly slowly dies giving more pain to you then ever. If you are careful enough not to crush its wings, you still are at loss because after that the butterfly losses its ability to fly. Happiness is only meant for people who are destined for it. For example, only an expert can get hold of a butterfly carefully without damaging its wings. Are we all experts? No we are not or else this world would be full of happy people. I am not saying that we cannot become experts. Yes we can but by that time, it would be too late. People always advise,” why aren’t you happy? You should be happy because you have blah blah…………” William Shakespeare had said, “O, how bitter a thing it is to look into happiness through other man’s eye”. No one in this world can ever understand the misery of another man.

So now readers, I have proved myslf.when you run after happiness, what you get is only depression. If you are destined for it then happiness will automatically come to you but if you are not, then be prepared to remain sad throughout your lifetime. Perfect happiness, even in memory, is not common. Happiness is the only reason for grief and depression. If you did not understand this article, you are either one of those destined happy ones or you are a fool.

If you are an electronics engineer, or one in the making, and if you haven’t yet laid your hands on this magazine, I must say, u are missing out on something very good. Yes, I’m talking about the magazine, Electronics For You. This magazine has been around the block from the past 37 years and it’s popularity has been increasing exponentially, ever since. It is essential for each one of us to keep track with the latest developments in our field and the fields of science related to it. We are all aware of the fact and also agree to it that our syllabus books alone will not help us climb the ladder of ultimate success. EFY is a magazine that brings to us the latest happenings in the technological world to our door-step. The main attraction about this monthly feed is that it caters to almost every section of the society. Students, lecturers, industrialists, engineers, technocrats and also the common man. Each issue of EFY has a section called ‘buyers guide’ which explains about one particular electronic product which we wanted to own but didn’t know how to go about selecting the best one for us.

There is a section called ‘circuit ideas’ which brings to us new and simplified circuits of common applications which we all can execute. There is a software section, a section which focuses on the industry and gives detailed market scenario of the products under consideration, a section called ‘construction’ which gives the part list, circuit description and the construction of general electronic stuff that we use in daily life. A section dedicated to the new products, recently introduced in India from various parts of the world that makes us aware of the latest components, tools, equipment, testing and measuring devices, power supplies, latest home and office products and many more things. Each article is written by highly experienced people who’ve been in the industry since ages, so the error percentage is highly negligible.

Every description is supported by attractive pictures and diagrams to give the reader a real feel of the product. You don’t only read about it but also get to see how the product looks like. All this and more, at very affordable prices. Each monthly issue is available in two forms, one with a CD, which costs INR 60and the other without a CD, which costs INR 30. The CD that comes along stores some interesting softwares which are pretty interesting to work with. Do have a look. I’m sure, you’ll love it.
