is it safe to keep fixed deposit money in IDBI bank.I am told this bank is not doind well and likely to get merged with other bank.

Your money will be there somewhere but whom will you approach or seek help for any transaction, withdrawal or even possibly inherit your funds from you? This bank has occupied prime real estate locations all over the country and has its offices everywhere. But the state of affairs is pathetic and ridiculous. There is no limit to the utter incompetence in every aspect of the bank’’s functioning, if you would like to even call it a a bank that is.
