I take this useless Insurance for 3 years together but i didnt get any claims from this idiot insurance. Every time hospitalization i paid the bills from my own pocket. Initially Niva Bupa claims team reject the cashless insurance and they will advise to go Reimbursement but every time i will waste our money and energy behind the reimbursement, never they didnt pay. I paid around 100,000/- Premium for this idiots for 3 years but no use. Number one fraud Insurance company

No....Useless Insurance dont take any reasons
Horrible experience from Niva Bupa, initially they accepted cashless claim for physiotherapy for ACL reconstruction, and due to delay from their side, had the cancel it and get physiotherapy done at my own expense. Niva Bupa is the worst Health Insurance company of India. Dont trust the company.

Is MAxBupa attached to Max hospital chain in any way? This may affect my decision.

No, Max Bupa Health Insurance is not currently attached to the Max hospital chain. In fact, Max Healthcare de-empanelled Max Bupa (now Niva Bupa) in 2020, meaning that Max Bupa policyholders can no longer access cashless claims at Max hospitals. The contract between the two entities expired and was not renewed.
I dont know whether they are attached but I can assure you that you wont get any benefits for that. They are cheaters and they would cheat you for any trivial reason.

The only downside is that theres no monthly premium payment option under this plan. As per our research, the insurer has received a higher number of complaints related to claim settlement and policy purchase - indicating a poor track record when it comes to both claim and policy purchase processes.

Yes They doubled my premium without any apparent reason and auto-debited my bank account and now refusing to cancel. Big Fraud
