If you liked Troy & Gladiator - you will definitely get a kick out of this flick.
You will be so pulled into the movie - you will not know that 2 hours could pass so quickly!
The plot very simply - is a platoon of 300 warriors(spartas finest) take on the entire persian army which is a million plus people. They stand their ground with courage and valor and send tremors through the back of Xerxes - the Persian god-king(thought he was invincible until he faced off against king leonidas @ Thermopylae)
The special effects are out of this world.
The cinematography - excellent.
The use of slow motion and use of sepia color tone add a certain artistic feel to the entire project.

The style similar, though distinct reminds one of Frank Millers Sin City whose entire experience was akin to reading a graphic novel.(gotta see it to believe it)
Was a little disappointed with the music score. The visual experience is soo rich that one does not even notice the absence of a dramatic music score(gladiator, the last samurai, braveheart)
