This date is my mom’s birthday, and at this time she was still carrying me inside her. I was born on September 6, 1980, which explains why I bought this album of Pat’s live performance at the Old Whaldorf in San Francisco on this particular date. This was a great performance as always! One of Pat’s best hits of the 80s is definitely ’’Hit Me With Your Best Shot, ’’ which of course came out right when I was born! I also love her hit ’’Heartbreaker’’ from 1979. That is definitely a classic as well! Pat Benatar was definitely the queen of 1980s rock! I also have a DVD of a live concert she did in New Haven, Connecticut, back in 1983 at the Veterans’ Memorial Coliseum. Definitely another winner as well! Many of Pat’s videos were interesting. Some of those videos that I love are ’’You Better Run, ’’ ’’I’m Gonna Follow You (wasn’t even released as a single, but somehow it had a video), ’’ ’’Promises in the Dark, ’’ ’’Fire and Ice, ’’ ’’Precious Time, ’’ ’’Shadows of the Night, ’’ ’’Little Too Late, ’’ ’’Anxiety (Get Nervous), ’’ ’’Love Is A Battlefield (classic), ’’ ’’Lipstick Lies, ’’ ’’We Belong, ’’ ’’Painted Desert, ’’ ’’Ooh Ooh Song, ’’ ’’Invincible (Theme from ’’The Legend of Billie Jean, ’’ movie starring Helen Slater; video also featured some clips from the movie), ’’ ’’Sex As A Weapon, ’’ ’’Le Bel Age, ’’ ’’One Love, ’’ ’’All Fired Up, ’’ ’’Don’t Walk Away, ’’ and ’’Let’s Stay Together.’’ Pat’s music and videos were all definitely works of art in the 80s era.
