At first it was the curiosity of wanting to see what products they have, that got me register.
There was a bonus of Rs 500 added as credit points to my account and I eagerly checked out deals everyday to make use of those credits.
A friend wanted to also see if she would get some referral credit (she said she didnt get anything!) if I shopped, so I decided to give it a go.
I finally placed my order - a Top and a Dress - amount totaling Rs.1632 (after deducting the bonus 500!)
At first only the Top arrived. The courier details on the carton (from the dealer) showed the amount to be over Rs 200 less than what I had paid for it! I eagerly opened it; it was a size bigger that what I had asked for! I immediately wrote to customer care (CC) telling them about it and told them to cancel the Dress as I suspected it to be over sized too.
CC asked me to courier the Top back and confirmed cancellation of the Dress on Dec 14, 2011 . On Dec 20th, I receive the Dress - over sized! It doesnt even look like what it was on the website - yuck ! I call up CC and ask them about it, they say it was dispatched on 17th due to some technical issue! I write to them several times - I get standard copy-paste response -we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Frustrated, I get hold of some rep on chat and he mails me to courier back the Dress. I do so and mail them about it sending them the dispatch details. As of date, I have no information regarding the dress having reached them, in spite of several mails.
I get Rs 499 credited to my bank account. (the cost of the Top was Rs 699!) CC writes to me telling me about it. I send them screen shots of the order (attached) and tell them that the cost was Rs.699. I keep asking them about the Dress that was returned.
CC tells me that the Rs 499 is for the top, and just dont tell me anything about the Dress, despite me repeatedly asking about it. One guy tells me that they have credited 200points as goodwill gesture’, another tells me, its the balance amount of the Top! Yet, I get no information about the Dress (cost Rs. 1358).
The responses from CC are very generic and I dont get answers to my queries. They ironically conclude their responses with a assuring you the best of our services’, happy to help and other nice empty words.
I have bought a clutch that they had priced at Rs 650 for Rs 150 from Malleshwaram, Bangalore ! A clutch that I bought from them doesnt even hold a cell phone for the price I paid. I am yet to receive a toy that I had ordered close to a month ago!
I have couriered both pieces of the order and got no details about the Dress. I still have Rs 1133 stuck with them and am frustrated following up.
Please DO NOT SHOP with 99LABELS even to use the 500 credit points as none of the items you buy are worth the price you pay.
