The promos for Vaada promised a slick racy film that would keep you on the edge of your seat all through. Thankfully, it’s lived up to this promise. Of course, that could be partly because the film isn’t your typical 3-hour long Bollywood saga, and ends at a little over 2 hours.
In typical Satish Kaushik style, the film moves ahead quickly to the main plot. Can u imagine the ’’boy meets girl, boy woos girl, boy proposes, girl accepts and they get married’’ routine all happening in one song??!
I’m not going to reveal the plot. But what really makes Vaada click, is Arjun Rampal’s controlled acting with an air of confidence, Zayed Khan’s superb performance as the lovestruck maniac and a poor victim later on in the courtroom, the overall pace of the film and it’s unpredictable plot.
Amisha......umm.......she looks old with the horrendous blonde hair and junglee outfits. Thankfully she doesn’t have much to do in the film. If she’s banking (pun intended) on this one as her comeback vehicle, she’s going to be sorely disappointed.
Go see this one! It’s a vada pao of a movie....spicy, total paisa vasool and gets over quickly! ;-)
