I had taken this ABN Amro freedom card for it gave me good balance transfer options so to clear the dues of my citibank card I was given 32, 000 DD for BT. I got the DD for 29, 000 only even after I got a confirmation SMS that 32, 000 was given as DD. The miscommunication was there from the begining. I called and confirmed the SMS being sent but no outcome.
My credit limit was 34, 000 on this card and I missed one month payment and my card was blocked. I paid the minimum payment and called up and was confirmed that I can use about 1100/- on this card so keeping no extra cash I went to a restaurent and had the worst insult. I had called from the merchants place and they said there was a miscommunication. I called up the other day and insisted on speaking to the supervisor. The supervisor was another crank lady and started questioning me instead that how can you use a blocked card.
I repeatedly informed that I was told that I could used the card for 1100 and she gave the worst customer experience. Adding fuel to the fire this collection agency in bangalore gave me nightmares during daytime. I decided to close this card and somehow collected the full amount and wanted to close it now there is no calls for the past 15 days!!!
I finally called the number in Delhi and informed about the card closure and they say to pay the full amount and call for the card closure. I personally dont recomend after the experience I have gone thru.
