1. The all new property bar. When we change tools now, the property bar at the top of the screen changes to reflect the change and we can adjust all options of that tool from the bar. Corel Draw has had this before but photoshop has introduced this in v6.0
2. New tools. The background eraser tool and th magic eraser tool now make it easier to edit images and remove backgrounds. Ideal for cutting out parts of images and image morphing.
3. Layer styles. This gives a host of effects one can apply to different layers as well as copy these styles and paste them to other layers.
4. Integration with Image Ready, This enables even beginners to make out web graphics in photoshop as well as give them javascript effects like rollovers.
5. Text Warp. Now twit, skew, distort text and keep it editable.
The filters are as comprehensive as can be and there is support for third party plugins too. You are limited only by your imagination.
Cost...well above Rs. 35000/- so only the professionals/corporates who make thier living out of it are going to go out and buy. For the rest...just see them work the magic in graphics all over the net.
