This software is very good when compare to any other editing software it has the potential to edit both VFX ( small part but great) and Merging videos /transitions any videos. I totally enjoyed from Cs4 to CC 2018 , for me this is the ultimate software for editing and yes I bet majority of the film editors like Indie films, YouTubers are using this Software. From 1991 till today more and more latest version were updated for great features in this software. So against any video editing software I think this can top 2% than any others like Nuke, AVS etc.
