I booked my house hold stuff from wellington(ooty) to Jalandhar. I asked for 20 feet truck as my luggage was so much which he agreed. On the final day of loading, he sent me a 32 feet truck. I was sure that he was going to share it with somebody else’s stuff. I asked him the same thing which he denied and asked me to put my own lock as it was a container. I did so. In addition I tried to give him part payment which he didnt agree to. I spoke to their head office at chennai and delhi about the same thing and they also assured me that the truck will not be changed enroute or shared with anybody.
After the truck left, with in few hours the driver of the truck gave me call that THE GREAT AGARWAL AND PACKERS have broken the lock and put other stuff in the truck. Finally when the truck reached me at Jalandhar, it was the different truck, he had shifted my stuffed miserably. My 7000 watt music system was broken. On contacting them, their standard reply was that the original truck got unserviceable and perforce they had to shift luggage. Exactly same thing happened to many of my friends who left wellington with me as all of us doing a course there. Same reasoning given to all. I wonder how these people get ISO 9000-2001 standards rating. These ratings are false ratings and should be removed from them.
If anybody knows the procedure to do so please let me know I will take up the matter.
