I recharged through the app for 3G/4G data of 10GB valid for one year. I also have family sharing activated on my number. Suddenly there started deduction of money from my shared mobile numbers. On contacting airtel they say the 10Gb pack cannot be shared.
No where have they specified that the 10Gb pack cannot be shared. They keep sending messages that recharge through the app, but do not give adequate details. I also have an unlimited pack for 70 days activated on my number.
I told them that fine if 10GB pack cannot be shared then refund the money. they say it cannot be refunded. I said logically if I have the unlimited pack activated then why should I activate the 10Gb pack also when I will get 1.2 GB data per day as it is. the reply is sorry there is no way to refund the money.
Airtel seems to be scared after JIO’s entry and have resorted to cheating their old customers. Absolutely pathetic. Will port out all my numbers from airtel soon.
