We are living in the time of 4G.Here LTE stands for Long term evolution. Technical terms apart airtel 4G is, according to me, is a reliable internet service provider. I am not talkin about the 4G challenge that they show on TV. But in reality I have used vodafone and now a days using Jio too. But the main drawback of these two is 1) Vodafone:-Network drops. 2) Jio:- A lot of places dont Jio towers till now.
And here Airtel 4G comes handy and provides good coverage on a vast scope of West bengal.
Speed:
Good one. Atleast it shows in MBPS in my phone. If you are not getting good speed, probably ur handset is betraying you. Downloading songs in my Apple music app has never been faster.
Connection reliabilty:
I am not talkin about the ad where they show tower connection on himalayas. I have never been there. but as far as plain land, hills and plateus of Bengal and Jharkhand are concerned, the connection works great and there are places where I have found airtel having much stronger netwrok than any other networks.
Service and support:
Well service is good but this section there is a fault. If you are using a postpaid connection and you have limited 4G package then once this Limited GB is exhausted the speed is bottle necked. The issue is, out of 10 times you try to open a webpage after 4G balance is done, airtel opens a webpage telling you to recharge extra amounts to get back 4G speed. But hey I am ohk wth 2G now and will wait for few days till my new month starts. If you call their service centre regarding this annoying webpage prompting u to recharge, they will tell you to switch off the mobile phone and take out the sim cards, replace them and restart it after 2 minutes. But common man does this sound like a netwrok or hardware issue? No its a soft block that you have to remove and replacing sim never works.
So verdict: Till u are on 4Gnetwrok and you have the data balance its awsome, once its bottle necked, U r gone.
