Network speed kept on playing since day 1. I could some how manage for 2 months when all of a sudden the signal vanished. Customer care suggested the usual tricks like restarting the WiFi router, reinserting the sim, etc.
The signal game played again, it was visible for 10 - 15 min and then died again. Signal tamasha continued for 2 days. Meanwhile no resolution provided by Airtel support.
On third day I again contacted the support team and this time they were candid enough to accept that my area wont have any signal and it could take 3 months by which it can be restored.
Meanwhile they would put my number in safe custody. On asking how I used to get signals till 2 - 3 days back, they did not have any good reason.
The customer care guy also advised that I can speak with them and give a reference of this talk so that bill can be adjusted on pro rata basis, as the signal issue started 3 days back.
The bill is generated now. Of course it also included those additional days on contrary to what was advised earlier. On top of this, they also added safe custody charges of 150.00 INR.
On asking what happens to the WiFi router now, their advice was to consult airtel relationship center from where I bought it. Well signal issue happened from Airtel, not from relationship centre.
Overall very poor service. Thinking now to shift to another service provider for mobile connection as well. It was Airtel for 10 years.
Dont go for Airtel 4G service.
