Having a horrifying time dealing with Airtel 4Gs customer care executives(?). I reported that the service is not consistent about 22 days ago. The technical team turned out to be very incompetent, visited my place only thrice, mostly to learn all the troubleshooting techniques from me(fortunately I work in the same segment, R&D).
My ZTE MF29 router is taken away quoting some device issue, and to be serviced. A standby ZTE router is also not functioning. There is absolutely no responsibility from Airtels end in returning my router, they are not even able to trace the engineer who took my router.
The worst customer service responses I have ever encountered. The audacity, arrogance, irresponsibility, and any other similar category adjective would easily apply to them. When I asked whether I should approach consumer court for compensation, I was told to do "whatever I can" and that they have a fixed procedure to follow(perhaps they are being told to be arrogant and engage the customers in any kind of long conversations). So far, I have made over 50 calls just to find who can be a single point responsible to get my router back in ANY CONDITION.
AIRTEL, your brand name sucks, and youve lost another customer.
