I had a very very bad experience with Airtel on both 4G connection & Broadband service. I was using Airtel broadband service before but as I had to relocated to a new house took Airtel 4G service after seeing soo much of advertisement about the speed and the usage of the device anywhere in india. But all it shows in the adds are just to make people fools, I bought the device by paying Rs 2500 and with a monthly bill of around Rs 1700 for 15GB data, after using for 2 month I have upgraded to 30GB for the monthly rent of Rs 2250(Including Tax), this is where I started facing issues from March last week where signal gets dropped suddenly and it reconnects after few minutes and this is happening for every 10mins .
When I raised a complaint on April 4th they said it will get resolved in 2 working days.10 days passed by there is no resolution when I called them on April 14th to check the status on the issue they said the case has been closed and they need to fine tune the signal in the area(Kodichikanahalli) I stay. And they also said that the issue may not get resolved and it may take time as it has to deal with government officials to get this done and iam not pretty sure why they need government approvals to strengthen the signals.
Then I got a bill in May for Rs 2240 and when I called up the customer care to reduce the amount atleast for the dates where the case has been opened and the actual issue is not completely resolved, but I got an answer saying the bill is an auto generated and they cannot weive off the rent and I am the customer which I am using Airtel from last 5 days and they are least bothered to consider the problem I am facing and they are not in a position to fix the actual issue which I have originally raised a complaint for.
My suggestion to my friends though people says BSNL is bad in customer I feel we have to use the services of BSNL as all our money is been given to the employees of our country.But Service providers like Airtel, Vodafone are here to mint money from people in the name of service.
Please think before avail the service from providers from Airtel & Vodafone and all other Private providers.
