Update Airtel has responded as to noting the issue when No Auto Switching Takes Place in areas where there is no LTE network)
HI I AM A SUBSCRIBER OF 4 G LTE IN NAVI MUMBAI MY NO IS 8082020344. SINCE PAST 3 DAYS 4G IS HAVING A PROBLEM IN KOPARKHAIRANE NAVI MUMBAI.
I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO SET MY PHONE TO 2G WHEN I VISITED AIR TEL EXPRESS SHOP TODAY . AND NOW MY PHONE WORKS ON 2G INSTEAD OF 4G LTE
THE PROBLEMS IN AIRETEL 4G LTE IS
1-INCOMING CALLS ERROR- CALLER HEARS A MESSAGE THAT I AM A VODAFONE CUSTOMER AND MY PHONE IS SWITCHED OFF.
2- OUTGOING CALLS -I CANT MAKE ANY CALLS
( NOT EVEN HELPLINE*121#) WHICH IS ALSO NOT WORKING.
3.- THE 3G SERVICES WILL ALSO NOT WORK AS PER THE AIRTEL EXPRESS CENTRE STAFF AT KOPARKHAIRANE.AND I HAVE TO SET MY PHONE TO 2 G ONLY.
4- COULD NOT FIND AIRTEL ALTERNATE HELP LINE ON THEIR WEBSITE WHICH WE CAN CALL FROM OUR OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS NUMBER( FORCING US TO VISIT THE AIRTEL EXPRESSS CENTRE)
5- NO SMS FROM AIRTEL TO CUSTOMERS TO SWITCH PHONES TO 2 G MODE - IT SEEMS AIRTEL IS NOT ABLE TO CONTACT SUBSCRIBERS AS THEY HAVE A BIG PROBLEM IN 4G
HOPE AIRTEL LOOKS INTO THE MATTER AND SETS THINGS RIGHT
