I switched to Airtel 4G LTE couple of months ago. Initially I was very happy with the speed. But the happiness lasted for a week only as the speed went down drastically and the reason was out of data. I was shocked considering I had used the internet only for some online shopping. There were absolutely no videos viewed nor any videos downloaded and 5GB data was used.
When I contacted the customer care they offered me no explanation citing I must have used it and they offered me to top up using smart bytes. I refused as my data usage is not that high. I managed with the 128 kbps for the remaining cycle. And yet again when the new cycle started, in another week it again said out of data. I am shocked again as I have monitored my data usage without watching any videos or downloads and yet again it says used up.
It is completely annoying when you know you have not used the data and you have to pay for it. I am completely dissatisfied with this service and I discourage anybody who wants to buy a Airtel 4G dongle. It is definitely not worth it.
