I wanted to buy a DTH and after so much research I opted for Airtel Digital TV as I already have Airtel Mobile connection in Delhi for last 9 years (without any issues at all). I Called Airtel DTH Customer service and bought it over the phone and paid through credit card on IVR itself.
On 5th March 2010, I ordered it at 4:45 pm over the phone and got a call for installation same day at 6 pm. By 6:30 pm installation guy was at my home and by 8 pm it was up and working perfectly fine. Engineers were well trained and very helpful. So it took little more than 3 hrs in the entire process from ordering to installation and enjoying !!!

I was given a Marathi add-on (free with base package), but I wanted to get Punjabi add-on channels. So I called up customer service and it was done within 5 minutes.This is a very good product, easy to use, great customer service (till now) and no issues at all. It’s working perfectly fine and great value for money. That’s my experience with Airtel Digital TV in New Delhi and would recommend it to those who want value for money and great customer service.
Would recommend to buy it directly from Airtel (on phone) in case you want quick installation. And also explain all the packages or add-ons you want very clearly to avoid any issues.
