*What can I say about
Ash?*
She reminds of an exotic techno-colored fish that lives in
over-decorated glass tank. Her features are perfect; from the unblemished shiny
skin to every curl of her eyelashes. She is the perfect living replica of a
Barbie doll!
Unlike many who envy her beauty, I feel sorry for her. Because,
I believe that her breath taking beauty has become her only limiting factor.
Perfectionist
That perfect face with the perfect make-up, that perfect cat
walk, those perfect dance moves, Ash has sure perfected everything that can be
practiced and perfected. Everything except acting! Unfortunately for her, acting
cannot be perfected.
Acting first needs the absorption of the real world around,
then transformation in to expression. To act you need to search your soul and
find sensitivity. This woman’s sensitivity(if any) is but held captive by her
perfected beauty.
Face of Glory
Vulnerabilities, warmth, doubts and smallness cannot be
shown in her brilliantly rich face. On the other hand, **no other face could depict intelligence, success, dignity
and charm in a better way**.
Ash, in spite dressing up like a wasted woman(with unkempt
hair, crumpled clothes, just kajal and lipstick make-up and even dark circles
around her eyes) she didn’t look like one, in the otherwise realistic movie
‘Rain Coat’. She fortunately or unfortunately possesses the face that deserves
only to be shown as the ultimate screen Goddess.
Faking Fake
Always humble and ‘Politically Correct’, when contradicting arrogance
is evident from her very body language! It’s irritating to hear her unnaturally
correct views and ‘expected replies’ to every question. Her stylized giggles
and upright countenance appears stale to me. She is most probably a scheming
opportunist and a shrewd shrew in real life.
Yet, she **deserves all
the fame piled on her**, as she is definitely hard working, she puts in
genuine effort, she maintains decency while hogging the limelight, she has a
certain dignity in spite of being involved in several short - stormy
relationships and she appears to be truly committed to her work. Who cares what
she is or probably is on real life! She does serve as an inspirational figure.
My Prediction
Director’s whose creative prowess suffer from a persistent
hang-over of ‘romantic illusions’ and
‘beautiful moments’(like Sanjay Leela Bansali) will continue to love her. She
will always be their muse.(Even, Hollywood
has several such directors.)
Someday, she will be listed in the ‘100 most beautiful
people of all time’. Someday, she will be one of most celebrated celebrities of
the world! When ever that day happens, till then, she will continue to enchant
movie-goers, more with her beauty rather than acting skills.
