I am suprised to find so many positive review on this website. its that either ppl were having such a good time that they did not bother watching the movie or may be its the festive mood which got them through.
I saw this movie with a lot of expectations, but give the boring plot and the story line, it made be sleep by the interval. I was woken by my wife post interval to see the rest of the movie, but alas waking up proved to be a big mistake.
the movie starts with the typical mistaken identity plot. 2 best friends need money and hence fardeen lies to his brother that he is already married, so that he can ask for more maintenance money. what a lame thing. the brother does not even bother to ask him abt the wedding album etc.
Later sanjay comes and since fardeen and his real GF(mugdha godse) had a silly fight which couples have like dozen times in a week in a real life, fardeen and ajay decide to lie to this brother that bipasha who is actually ajay devgans wife is fardeens wife. God save me. I bet if they wud have told mugdha she wud have readily agreed in the first place and it wud have saved me from this torture.
Well after second half starts the second degree torture of a guy coming to take their place for rent and his boring senseless jokes. I never understood what was funny abt him saying just chill time and again nor the afrikan language they spoke. I mean guys havent we been thru this mistaken identity crisis kind of movies since like early stone age. May be my sense of humor is a bit high and I dont laugh on these kindergarten level jokes. my recomendation is a strict no. I liked rohits previous movie golmaal returns (a remake of aaj ki taaza khabar) which was good, though not as good as the original classic.
Well since there is no provision in mouthshut to give a ZERO rating hence I iam going for 1/5 to this movie. All the best since you really need it to keep you away from sleep while watching this movie. if you are really desperate I suggest you take a pillow as well to the theater :-D
