Also, our earlier generations, of course I am talking about the common public who were not into the Cine-Industry, mainly believed (or it probably worked out too) that usage of turmeric all over the body while bathing removed / plucked the hairs from the body thereby giving a glowing hair-free body.
But our days are completely different from our age-old generations. Plucking Method:
This is one of the ancient methods for the removal of hair from the body. Application on other parts of the body is quite painful and so advisable to be avoided. This method is a self-doing method and is generally not performed at Beauty Parlours.
Waxing:
This is comparatively a painful method for removal of unwanted hair. The wax needs to be applied on the hair to be removed and a waste (disposable) cloth needs to be stuck to it and just pulled in the direction opposite to the hair growth. This treatment removes the unwanted hair from the root and the further hair growth is also pretty slower. Beauty Parlours follow this treatment only. This method does not take much of time.
Electrolysis & Laser Treatments:
These treatments are performed at Hospitals and by technically qualified beauticians at Authorised Beauty Parlours. This is a very costly treatment and helps removal of unwanted hair (mainly thick-hairs grown due to hormonal imbalances) either temporarily or permanently.
Hair-Removal Using Creams / Lotions:
This is also one of the ancient methods which is best suited for self-performances. This is a very safe method but little time-consuming. Due to its impregnability, this is commonly advisable to all the beginners.
