My wife delivered our second baby at the cradle. We went there only because we wanted to consult Dr. Kini.
Dr. Kini is okay - though not as approachable and helpful that he was 6 years ago. The duty paediatricians at Cradle seem to be an inexperienced lot. Even for minor issues, you baby will land up in the NICU - which is very discomforting. And the paediatricians are simply not to be found when you need information. You will find yourself running after them on the stairs to get some information.
The nursing staff at the NICU and the wards are very helpful. The rest of the admin staff seems to be overworked and are mostly random with their response to any help request.
Our baby was in the NICU for the 1st week after birth. Now he is okay.
I won’t recommend this hospital to anyone. We shouldn’t get swayed by the glamour. Go to a simple hospital like Shanti Nursing home or Maiyas Hospital.
Also this is a very costly place for people without Insurance. They charge you tonnes of money for every simple thing.
