We used the services of Ascent Movers and Packers for intra-city Bangalore home shifting recently. After checking with a couple of Movers & Packers, we finally decided on them as they had quoted the most attractive rates compared to others. At the time of quotation, they were all sweet and nice but all that sweet talks lasted only till we paid the full advance amount. However, it was too late before we realized it was a mistake choosing them over others for our local household shifting.
We were given confirmation that the packing guys would reach our place by 10 am in the morning. However, after repeated calls to the manager, three guys finally arrived at around 11:15 am for packing, loading and unloading. But those were just a bunch of unprofessional and lazy people. Many times my husband had to intervene when they were trying to load the items without even packing properly. There were so careless in packing that few of the items were simply lying outside the carton box. Afraid that we would end up missing some of the items if we don’t keep a close watch on these guys, we could not concentrate on any other work. I had to many times even show them how to pack properly. They did not even have enough packing material with them. They were asking me for extra ropes, cartons, paper etc. The whole process took nearly six hours and to add to all that, they started asking us for extra 1.5K at the time of unloading. We were completely exhausted by the end of the day and all we wanted was to somehow to get rid of these unprofessional and ruthless people. Later, we realized that many of the items were missing and some of our furniture had scratches all over due to their mishandling at the time of loading and unloading.
I’d never use the services of Ascent movers and packers anytime in future. Also I’d never recommend their horrible services to anyone if you care at least a bit about your peace of mind and don’t want to loose your precious time and energy over these bunch of unprofessional people who don’t know how to shift goods even locally without causing damage.
