Virus Alert:Please update your virus definitions

VIRUS-Vital Information Relative Under SiegeBeing a network Administrator. I always advice users to update the Virus definition, when I send them mail with subject: Please be on safer side they react PBOSS not again...dammn why the virus definitions are released on daily basis???.. these are all sort of questions they ask..the viruses are also released on DAily basis some make through, some are killed before they make path though the security holes(if they are patched), open ports is what peepz never know there are about

three ranges of port number.

The well known ports from 0 to 1023. The registered port from 1024 to 49151

And the dynamic ports from 49152 to 65535. So viruses are always ready to creep into your system through many of these opened ports in this scenario I see AVG to be the most reliable, best performer and mostly used software which is got most popularity within years beside it is FRee so there is no need to spend money on licence believe me this antivirus uses a very little memory resource effectively then other AV softwares some tips.

Always update the virus definition if older then 14 days. Never deactivate the Antivirus while surfing the net.

When the AV is not able to heal it shifts to quarantine folder never delete or you will end up deleting system files and the PC wont boot.

The free edition is more user friendly then paid one and believe me its the best.

The plus

Automatic updates, schedule scanning;update, email scanning, real time scan etc..etc...etc.......n

The minus

Some of the high alert viruses are not detected sometimes and it is also unable to repair the viruses at times but this is normally more or less with all other AV’s

The AVG virus definition is always released in daily basis but mmmmmmm the top threats which is there on the main website seems to be more then a month old now ...hahahahaha (their programmers must be busy updating the virus definitions).

Keep the good work up AVG team for any Suggestion, Query or Comment
