Horrible service

I opened a current account in Axis bank about 2 months back, and since then its been a pain to be associated with this bank.First of all, they go through tonnes of formalities to open an account, much more than the other banks(like hdfc and icici).


Then I applied for the internet banking service after filling up a dozen forms and board resolutions and what not..and received my PIN number after 7 weeks.. yes it took them 7 bloody weeks to get me a PIN. Moreover this internet banking facility is only apt for checking my account status, and NOT for making online bill payments. So for making bill payments, I was told, I need to fill up a few more forms and give another board of resolution n then again wait for 6-8 weeks to get that service started.


Also I receive foreign remittances to my account and each time that happens, I have to personally go over to the branch and hand out a detailed invoice citing the purpose of payment.Its been a horrific to be associated with this bank and I m goin to cancel my account in a few months.


Axis bank should be shut down for the betterment of the society.
