The bajaj boxer is doing well. Anyway it already has two entry level bikes. Then why do they have to bring in the ct 100?I will tell you what I think.the entry level does not really have a lot of choice.many people may not like the byk because of its styling. The tvs max is really outdated and tvs may soon discontinue it soon. That leaves out only the boxer, dawn and crux. Many people may not have even heard of the crux. So bajaj can easily steal the market share by bringing in the ct 100. Well it has. Bajaj has sold 1, 20, 000 ct100s in 3 months.what makes it such a good bike?
The graphics look very straightish but look very unique. It is stylish but there is toooooo much stickering. Like the victor glx.no one knows how the bike will look in a few years. Anyway, its looks are better than the dawn and boxer.the headlamp is a round multi reflector one. The tail lamp resembles the caliber’s (not 115) tail lamp.
The ct100 has a 99 cc engine which has a max power of 8.2 bhp which is very good. The bike is almost as powerful as the victor gl!
The good power translates into good performance. The performance is what can be expected from a 100 cc bike. Its performance is definitely better than the dawn’s and boxer’s.
Fuel efficiency-this is an entry level bike and its fuel efficiency that matters the most. The commercials tell that it gives 101km/l. But it gives 70-80km/l. That is one of the main reasons why the ct 100 sold so well.
Now it is you’re choice. There is nothing wrong in this bike. In fact everything is good. It is a best seller, has great looks, good mileage, good comfort, enough power, blah, blah. And all this for around 30k. Ultimately it is the best value for money bike in the indian market. And you know something? I have a feeling the boxer won’t sell anymore. The ct 100 will steal the sales.
