I am from Mumbai, after planning for 3 odd years due to some constraints, finally I decided to go for a bike and that too Hamara Bajaj, despite of various reviews about quality, reliability, etc. etc. But I have one answer to that, that people are not fools, if the product is not good, it would not be accepted, especially in India where people think 4 times before buying any stuff. While giving my first cheque, I saw Hero Honda’s CD Deluxe and for a moment I thought I should go for it, since many reviews say, HH is very reliable.
But then I was astonished by the looks of Platina and CD Deluxe seems to be an Old man’s bike, according to me and I felt no spice at all, actually nothing spicy, not even looks, engine apart.I decided to buy Platina, since my daily commuting is hardly 10-15 kms to and fro.I got delivery on 14th March 2007, GREY Colour and till today it has clocked around 800 kms. I got it for 41K on road, Cash Payment. Good Deal.1st Service has been done, so far.I would not go for detailed specifications, as I am also mostly not aware of and I would give it in a tabular form for better clarity.

It is good, if you are sole rider. But seems to be ok, with pillionMileage. Honestly, I don’t have a specific figure, but according to my routine it is giving me around 70 km/pl and I am happy with it.Gears. Gears are ok, sometimes smooth - sometimes hard. Till today I had 2-3 times false neutral.Suspension.
Initially, it was smooth, but now I feel it Hard, ne ways will report to the service. Centre during my next service. But no problem till today. I had a back pain before purchase of bike but I must admit that it has not enchanced it.Engine It is a bit noisy, but I was informed that the engine is fast, because its new. May be i’ll update about it after my second service.I hope all the major issues are covered and will update my review after 1, 000 or 1, 500 kms.Final VerdictI think this bike is excellent and I recommend it.
Overall package is very good and the feeling you get while driving is great. I have noticed that still people give atleast one glance at your bike, when you are at the signal.Till today I am totally satisfied with this bike and now I am keen to switch over to P200 or P220, despite of issues.According to me, People salutes the rising sun and I am no exception to that.Comments to my Review are invited, BUT NOT for my views, Please......Kudos...to BajajPROUD OWNER OF BAJAJ
