Bajaj Wave Not Available for Test Ride

We thought of taking a test ride of the recently launched and much talked about BAJAJ Wave??   On entering the show-room, we were just gazing all around and waiting for someone (customer care executive / sales /marketing representative) to ask us as to WHY we were there at the show-room (Baroda Auto Centre, Station Road, Bharuch).   After about 15 minutes of standing and just walking around and waiting one Shri Bhasker Patel informed us that they(BAC) did not have a new Wave for a test ride.   Then I was handed a visiting card and was told to call back after 2 days and inquire if we would visit for a test ride????

This experience was conveyed by me to their service related queries address at rvhavaldar@bajajauto.co.in/ service@bajajauto.co.in which I got from their website https://bajajauto.com. It has been more than 48 hours and there is no response from the service queries email.

They have not taken any feedback nor have they taken my contact details as a prospective customer interested in buying their product WAVE.

I think from this experience of mine that BAJAJ AUTO is not bothered about the customer service, if this is the case before buying a vehicle, I just can’t imagine how they would deal with me once I have bought the vehicle.

2 DAYS LATER...

On October 17, 2005, we got a call from the showroom, as the email which we submitted was forwarded to the showroom from Bajaj Auto headquarters. The sales representative was in fact a distant relative of ours who had joined the showroom recently. We were told that the WAVE is available for test ride and that the customer care staff would come with the vehicle to our residence to offer us a test ride... however, lately they tried to cover-up the lapse. But unfortunate for BAJAJ that we had after leaving the BAJAJ showroom visited HONDA showroom for a test ride of ACTIVA and have decided to buy an ACTIVA.... in short BAJAJ has lost a customer.... due to the lapse at the grass-root level customer care.
