Wave is targeted for women and old people. I bought wave for my wife and she was absolutely happy for 3-4 months. However happiness didn’t last long. Wave electronic start problem is the headache in the driving. You can’t kick-start the vehicle without putting it on the main central stand. Electronic start will stop working after every 3-4 months. I guess everybody is facing this problem. So if you are buying for a lady/girl/elder people, donot buy WAVE. There are other better choices available in the market. And on top of that in Bangalore, you need to deal with dealers like Khivraj who has highly incomepetent and inexperienced staff as far as Wave is concerned.
In my opinion, Bajaj wave is a second grade product from Bajaj. If a vehicle targeted for women/elderly people can’t provide the electronic start, it is a waste in the market. I have seen so many people using Kinetic honda for years without any problems at least in starting the scooter.
