I did one of the blunders of my life & decided to buy a term policy from them. I registered & paid for the policy on 11-Feb-2014, I got the confirmation email from bank about the credit card deductions. However, while returning from payment gateway, their website hung & thrown error about the payment.
From here my nightmare started. I called them immediately & they refused that they have received any money. From this moment they would ask for more time each time I call them or email them.
Finally on 19-Feb, I received the email confirmation about the receipt of money. But guess what, they have increased the premium now.
I am now fighting to get my money back, however I am getting poor response from them. I cant believe that both Bharti Axa & Airtel have same parent company.
If the policy purchase experience is so bad, think about claim experience! Thank God that I learned about them at the beginning itself.
