Caught "Bheja Fry" on saturday after my bheja was fried completely with a hectic schedule at work. But man, movie was awesome. Came out with a relaxed mood.
Saw this because heard some very good reviews from couple of friends. Of course, I just wanted to catch because it had Vinay Pathak. Have been a fan of his since his "Great Indian Comedy Show" went live.
The movie is on the backdrop of a voyeristic desire of Rajat Kapur to have fun of people on every Friday, what he calls as his only way of relieving stress. But then ends up being a victim.
Vinay Pathak because of his self-proclaimed singing talent and a disease of speaking too much at any given chance delivers a laugh riot. He behaves like a person who cant take an insult and justifying his stand all the time keeps creating trouble and funny situations for Rajat Kapur.
Wont reveal too much on that.
The movie is a bit too slow, at times you feel the need for expedition. But the plot keeps coming with some hilarious moments to keep the interest alive. The sudden entry of Ranvir Shurei is also well thought and fits in well.
On a whole, all the cast have performed brilliantly. Will not be surprized if Vinay Pathak gets the Best Comedian for the Year.
